Easterseals Oregon Connecting Communities Program is committed to providing comprehensive job preparation services that empower individuals with disabilities to successfully enter and advance in the workforce. 

Our History

For over 23 years, our program has proudly partnered with Vocational Rehabilitation to support participants across Oregon, especially those from underserved and minority communities. 

With a track record of 80% employment retention, thousands have achieved meaningful and lasting employment. Our services are individualized, holistic, and culturally appropriate to ensure each person receives employment services in their own language. 

What’s new?

We are now equipped to serve all participants regardless of language and ethnicity. Currently, we can only work with individuals already part of Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation or Oregon Commission for the Blind. Our team is trained, prepared, and eager to meet the needs of our diverse communities. 

Where we serve 

The Connecting Communities Program provides employment services with physical locations in Portland and Salem. All other counties via remote/virtually.

How to Join

In order to qualify for our services, you need to already be a participant with Vocational Rehabilitation OR Oregon Commission for the Blind

• If you are a participant in these programs, please ask your counselor to send us a referral.
• If you are a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, we would love to connect with you and work with your participants.
