Easterseals Oregon is a nonprofit organization dedicated to unlocking opportunities by empowering children and adults with disabilities, Veterans, and underserved populations.
Our vision is: “To deliver transformative disability services, workforce development, and housing programs, empowering individuals and families to lead fulfilling lives and enriching communities across Oregon.”
For more than 78 years in Oregon, and over 100 years nationally, Easterseals has empowered individuals and families to live, learn, work, and play in their communities. Our services are designed to meet people where they are and help them achieve their personal goals.
What types of services does Easterseals Oregon provide?
We offer a wide range of programs across the state, tailored to the unique needs of the individuals and families we serve:
• Camp & Recreation – Fully accessible summer camp experiences for children and adults with disabilities.
• Employment & Job Training – Helping job seekers, including older adults, Veterans, and multilingual adults with disabilities, connect to meaningful work through skills development and coaching.
• Housing Case Management – Supporting Veterans and their families and adults on their journey to stable, safe, and affordable housing.
• Multilingual Employment & Job Training – Serving multilingual job seekers through our Connecting Communities Program.
• Veterans & Families – Employment services, housing support, and case management for Veterans and their families.

Nationally, Easterseals serves more than one million people annually and provides professional education to over 100,000 physicians, therapists, and other specialists to improve care and support for people with disabilities.

Easterseals Oregon is proud to be a grassroots, community-based nonprofit. Every dollar donated to Easterseals Oregon stays in Oregon. For every dollar donated, 90 cents directly helps a child or adult with disabilities, or a Veteran or senior in urgent need.

Easterseals operates more than 550 service sites nationwide, including Puerto Rico, and supports over 70 affiliates with training, best practices, and collaboration. Easterseals Oregon is one of these affiliates, with multiple service locations across the state, reaching urban, suburban, and rural communities.

Yes! Easterseals still sends stamps to millions of households each year to inspire giving and raise funds that help children and adults with disabilities, Veterans, and seniors live with dignity, independence, and purpose.
